Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Reading and English Tutor to support students in developing their literacy and language skills. This role involves utilizing learning technology, and fostering a positive learning environment. Ideal candidates will have experience working with children, classroom management skills, and proficiency in English.
Responsibilities
- Utilize learning technology tools to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement
- Conduct tutoring sessions focused on literacy education, language development, and reading comprehension
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages active participation and confidence building
- Track student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other educational professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each student
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in educational settings
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning atmosphere
- Proficiency in English
- Familiarity with learning technology tools used in modern teaching environments
- Knowledge of special education strategies and early childhood education principles
- Prior experience tutoring or teaching young learners
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs and learning styles
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
