About This Role
Developing and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android is the core of this role. The position involves designing and building user interfaces, writing clean code, and integrating with backend services, making it suitable for a candidate eager to learn and grow in mobile development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android
- Design and build User Interfaces (UI) from wireframes, prototypes, or designs received from the design team
- Write clean, well-structured, and reusable code for high-performance applications
- Test applications, including debugging and bug fixing, to ensure smooth operation and good performance
- Integrate with Backend Services such as RESTful APIs, Third-party Libraries, or Offline Storage
- Collaborate with developer and designer teams to develop new features according to project requirements
- Maintain and update code according to best practices, including using Version Control like Git
- Learn and apply new technologies to further improve applications
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field (new graduates are considered)
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript and React (experience with React Native will be given special consideration)
- Understand the basics of mobile application development and the lifecycle of iOS/Android apps
- Ability to use basic tools such as Git for Version Control
- Good problem-solving skills and teamwork ability
- Eager to learn new technologies and grow in mobile development
Nice to have:
- Portfolio of personal or university projects (e.g., Capstone Project)
- Familiarity with tools like Redux, React Navigation, TypeScript, or other State Management tools
- Experience integrating with Firebase, REST APIs, or Third-party Services (e.g., Push Notification, Payment Gateway)
- Familiarity with Testing Frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme, or Detox
- Basic understanding of UI/UX Design or experience using Figma/Adobe XD
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum or Code Review
