About This Role
This engineering role involves building and integrating the front-end components for web and mobile applications using React and React Native. The position suits a developer with strong mobile experience and a background in integrating complex APIs and features, especially those with AI-driven development skills.
Responsibilities
- Implement React (web) front-ends and React Native (iOS/Android) exam app
- Integrate REST APIs to deliver seamless flows: registration, industry selection, flashcards, payments, online exams, and certificates
- Build complex modules including 19 question types, real-time proctoring (RTC), preflight biometric checks (camera/voice print), and audio scoring
- Integrate Airwallex payments, third-party logins (Apple/Google/LinkedIn/Facebook), and support 6 languages
- Establish best practices for state management, networking, error handling, analytics, crash monitoring, and CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions)
Requirements
- 5+ years in mobile development, with 3+ years of commercial React Native experience (0-to-1 or large-scale app ownership)
- Expert in React Native & TypeScript (Hooks, State Management, React Navigation)
- Proficient in Native Modules, bridging, and native SDK integration
- Hands-on experience with Audio/Video (WebRTC/RTC SDK), camera capture, and media processing
- Solid understanding of JWT auth, token refresh, offline/weak-network handling, and App Store/Play Store publishing
- Ability to read OpenAPI/Swagger docs and independently take over existing codebases
Nice to have:
- Deep experience using AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) to accelerate delivery and quality
- Proficient in AI Agents, Skills, and MCP plugins for complex task orchestration
- Strong prompt engineering skills and strict code review practices to validate AI-generated code
- Practical experience using AI for code review, automated testing, and refactoring
