React Native Developer

About This Role

React Native developers build, test, and maintain mobile applications and ensure they integrate seamlessly with backend systems. This role suits a developer with strong proficiency in React Native and a solid understanding of mobile app development best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain mobile applications using React Native
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Implement clean and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices
• Optimize app performance, responsiveness, and compatibility across different devices and screen sizes
• Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs and services, ensuring data exchange and authentication
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization to identify and resolve issues
• Work in an Agile/Scrum development environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews
• Document app architecture, code functionality, and API usage for future reference and collaboration
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in React Native and mobile app development
• Continuously improve skills, learn new technologies, and share knowledge with the team

Requirements

• 5+ years experience as a React Native Developer or similar role
• Strong proficiency in React Native, JavaScript, and mobile app development
• Experience with Redux or other state management libraries
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and data exchange between frontend and backend systems
• Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git
• Solid understanding of mobile app development concepts and best practices
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred)
