Role Overview This position involves performing general radiographic procedures on adult and pediatric patients to assist in diagnosis and treatment. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, provides clear instructions, and ensures high-quality imaging with professionalism and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
- Perform radiographic examinations independently, including portable and on-call exams.
- Maintain safety and quality standards while delivering excellent patient care.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate degree or Trade School equivalency.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)).
- Licenses such as IEMA (excluding MRI) and valid Radiology Technologist registration.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience and CPR certification.
Key Requirements
- Ability to perform general radiologic procedures with attention to safety and accuracy.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts, as needed.
