Role Overview: Seeking a
Full-Time Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures independently, including radiographic exams, portable studies, and occasional OR tasks. The role involves working with advanced equipment like Siemens, Samsung, and Carestream systems, primarily in an emergency room setting. The position requires preparing patients, ensuring equipment readiness, and providing high-quality customer service. The technologist may work in-house, in the ER, or in the OR, with responsibilities including patient instruction and maintaining imaging quality.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R))) and ARRT registration
- No experience necessary; open to new grads, upcoming grads, and experienced technologists
- Licenses such as IEMA (excluding MRI) for Illinois, CPR preferred for experienced candidates
Key Duties:
- Perform radiographic exams independently and in emergency situations
- Prepare patients and equipment, explain procedures, and deliver professional patient care
- Handle portable exams and assist in the OR as needed
