Qualifications: an Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency (or pending completion), certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R))), and BLS certification.
Experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
Additional requirements include licensure (e.g., IEMA for Illinois), and CPR certification for preferred qualifications.
Ideal candidates include new grads, students, and experienced radiologic technologists, including MRI and CT specialists.
