Role Overview Seeking a skilled CT / Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams using advanced imaging equipment, collaborating with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure high-quality results. The role involves patient preparation, adherence to safety protocols, image quality review, and operation of imaging systems. The technologist maintains ARRT or modality-specific competency, provides patient education, and documents procedures accurately. They must follow infection control standards and manage equipment and procedural protocols effectively.
Responsibilities Include
- Maintaining necessary certifications and licensure
- Performing and reviewing imaging exams for quality and accuracy
- Ensuring patient safety, comfort, and proper identification
- Operating CT equipment and related systems
- Assisting and instructing colleagues and students
- Adhering to radiation safety and infection control guidelines
- Documenting procedures and managing equipment issues
Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of anatomy, imaging evaluation, and equipment operation
- Ability to follow contrast protocols and respond to emergencies
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with electronic imaging systems
- Physical ability to lift, move, and assist patients, and stand for extended periods
Required Certifications
- ARRT (R) certification
- CT certification (preferred or obtainable)
- Active state licensure (if required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
