Radiology Technician

About This Role

Working under the direction of a physician, the Radiology Technician performs radiographic examinations for sports medicine and orthopedic surgeons. This role involves producing high-quality diagnostic radiographs and assisting physicians in x-ray procedures within a clinic environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations for sports medicine and orthopedic surgeons consistent with their perimeters
• Produce high quality diagnostic radiographs
• Assess patients
• Assist the Physician in performing x-ray procedures, using state of the art DR equipment and processor
• Maintain patient and departmental records, supplies and equipment
• Perform other related tasks

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited Imaging Program
• ARRT or registry eligible; must have ARRT within one year post graduation
• BLS certification
• State license if required

Nice to have:

• Associates degree
• 1-3 years of experience

• Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (no nights, weekends, or holidays)
• Employment type: full-time or part-time
• Locations: Dearborn; Sterling Heights; Detroit area
