About This Role
This night-shift post on the cardiac ward pairs patient care with mentoring new nurses.
Responsibilities
- Interact with patients in an appropriate and professional manner
- Prepare and set up procedure room for patient
- Position patient on examining table and set up and adjust equipment to obtain optimum view of specific body area as requested by physician
- Position x-ray equipment and adjust controls to set exposure factors, such as time and and distance
- Perform proper room cleaning and turnovers
- Demonstrate competence in x-ray / fluoroscopy technologist skills
- Work effectively within role independently and with other team members
- Understand medical/surgical terminology
- Order and restock supplies in a timely and efficient manner
- Assume all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- ARRT Certification (Required)
- Ability to work every Thursday (Altamonte Springs office / Kissimmee office every other week)
Nice to have:
- C Arm Fluoroscopy Imaging: 1 year (Preferred)
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
Important Details
- Schedule: Must be available every Thursday and Saturday. Additional days are available for other locations
- Employment type: Part-time, PRN, Per diem
- Thursday: (Altamonte Springs office / Kissimmee office every other week)
- Saturday (Kissimmee Office every week)
