About the role
Role Overview: Performs imaging procedures in compliance with organizational standards, policies, and scope of practice. Reviews patient history and physician orders, educates patients about procedures, prepares and administers contrast media or medications as needed, and monitors patient condition throughout. Ensures equipment is prepared, selects appropriate imaging parameters, maintains safety standards, and troubleshoots equipment malfunctions. Positions patients, analyzes image quality, and makes necessary adjustments to ensure optimal results. May work with students and requires critical thinking, decisiveness, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program, registered with ARRT, and licensed as required by law. BLS certification is mandatory before start. Must demonstrate technical proficiency, attention to detail, and excellent patient communication skills.
