About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Radiologic Technologist with a focus on Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality images that meet established standards. This role requires competence in a variety of equipment and technology, adherence to safety guidelines, and effective teamwork and communication skills.
Duties
- Produce high-quality MRI images that meet departmental standards.
- Maintain competence in a variety of equipment and technology.
- Practice safety guidelines for self, support personnel, and patients.
- Foster teamwork through effective communication.
- Maintain flexibility to work in various locations, shift times, and lengths.
- Ability to work varied hours, including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Participate in on-call shifts requiring pager response for after-hour coverage.
Required Skills & Experience
- Organized, efficient, and multifunctional.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience with Neuro MRI, Abdominal MRI, and Musculoskeletal (MSK) MRI.
- Epic experience is required.
We are looking for candidates who are adaptable, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a high-acuity academic medical center environment.
Schedule
Mon-Fri, 8-hour shifts. No call, no overnights, no holidays.
- Day Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM & 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Evening Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Travelers will not need to rotate between Day and Evening shifts. This is a 13-week assignment.
