About the role
Role Overview: The Radiologic Technologist Lead is responsible for providing specialized imaging of body parts to assist in medical interpretation.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing radiographic images and positioning fluoroscopic equipment accurately.
- Minimizing radiation exposure and ensuring patient comfort.
- Preparing and selecting contrast media for examinations.
- Processing images for PACS and ensuring correct patient identification.
- Managing radiographic requests and assisting in the instruction of student technologists.
Qualifications
- ARRT Certification in Radiation Technology and NJ radiology license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA required.
- Preferred: Minimum two years of radiology technician experience.
Skills & Attributes: Technical proficiency in radiography, patient care, attention to safety protocols, and ability to mentor students.
