About the role
Position Summary Operates x-ray equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs as ordered by physicians. Responsible for positioning and instructing patients, adjusting equipment settings such as voltage and exposure time, and ensuring safety during procedures. Produces and documents high-quality images, verifies exams on PACS, and reports relevant findings to physicians.
Qualifications & Skills
- Required ARRT-R certification and valid radiologic tech license in the practice state (CA and HI).
- Must hold BLS certification; fluoroscopy license required within 6 months in CA.
- Preferred associate’s degree in radiologic technology.
- Ability to explain procedures, monitor patient safety, and prepare equipment and examination rooms.
Key Duties
- Perform diagnostic screening procedures and imaging exams.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Document exam details and report findings to physicians.
- Maintain equipment readiness and prepare examination rooms.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
