Overview
Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting Radiation Oncologist to provide onsite services to eligible beneficiaries of the San Juan VA Medical Center. Shift scheduling is generally Mon-Fri, 7:30am-4:00pm with call. Full-time and Locum Tenens positions with generous compensation packages are available.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat cancer patients (inpatient and outpatient) for both palliative and curative purposes.
- Develop and document individualized treatment plans, including advanced modalities (3D-conformal, VMAT, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS).
- Conduct patient consultations, pretreatment evaluations, and obtain informed consent.
- Monitor patients during treatment, adjust prescriptions as needed, and document all care in the VA’s electronic health record systems (CPRS and ARIA/Eclipse).
- Participate in weekly peer review conferences, tumor boards, and quality improvement meetings.
- Provide follow-up evaluations within 30–60 days post-treatment and document treatment discharge summaries.
- Ensure compliance with all VA, national, and accrediting body standards for radiation oncology practice.
- Participate in administrative duties, including quality assurance, staff meetings, and reporting of incidents or adverse events.
- Maintain and protect patient medical records in accordance with VA policies and HIPAA.
- Be available for on-call coverage during clinic off-hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Radiation Oncology (American Board of Radiology or equivalent), with up-to-date continuing education.
- Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience excluding clinical experience.
- Maintain an active AHA BLS and ACLs certification.
- NPI report printout.
- Active DEA license.
- Must be able to pass a federal background investigation.
