About the role
The Radiology Technician is responsible for operating imaging equipment to perform diagnostic procedures, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities Include
- Performing radiologic procedures with appropriate technical expertise.
- Monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and policies.
- Managing supplies and equipment efficiently.
- Providing professional behavior and exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Technical Degree or Diploma in Radiology.
- Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT.
- BASIC LIFE SUPPORT certification from the American Heart Association.
- Knowledge of radiographic equipment, imaging procedures, and basic radiology information systems preferred.
Skills and Abilities: Effective communication, attention to safety, and ability to relate well with patients and staff.
Physical Demands: Medium physical activity, including standing, climbing, and handling equipment; ability to react quickly in emergencies; frequent patient contact; exposure to body fluids and hazardous materials.
