About the role

The Radiology Technician is responsible for operating imaging equipment to perform diagnostic procedures, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities Include

  • Performing radiologic procedures with appropriate technical expertise.
  • Monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and policies.
  • Managing supplies and equipment efficiently.
  • Providing professional behavior and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

  • Technical Degree or Diploma in Radiology.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT.
  • BASIC LIFE SUPPORT certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Knowledge of radiographic equipment, imaging procedures, and basic radiology information systems preferred.

Skills and Abilities: Effective communication, attention to safety, and ability to relate well with patients and staff.

Physical Demands: Medium physical activity, including standing, climbing, and handling equipment; ability to react quickly in emergencies; frequent patient contact; exposure to body fluids and hazardous materials.
