Quantity Surveyor - Civil

About This Role

Working as a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects. This involves preparing estimates and tenders, managing contracts, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure projects are completed within budget.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bills of quantities
• Prepare tender submissions and source quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
• Evaluate quotations and assist with procurement and contract negotiations
• Prepare progress claims, assess subcontractor claims, and handle variation orders
• Monitor project budgets, costs, and expenditure
• Prepare final accounts and supporting documentation
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, project teams, and subcontractors on contractual and cost matters
• Attend site visits and meetings as required

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Able to read construction drawings and understand specifications
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and relevant quantity surveying software
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and negotiation skills
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines

Nice to have:

• Experience in Singapore renovation and A&A projects
