Quality Manager

About This Role

Leading the site's quality strategy and ensuring products, processes, and systems consistently meet customer, regulatory, and Siemens quality standards is the core of this role. The Quality Manager oversees the Quality Management System (QMS), leads quality teams, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and supports the successful ramp-up and long-term operational excellence of the Pendergrass manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the site's Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with Siemens standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements
• Develop and execute quality strategies that support safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations across fabrication, coating, plating, epoxy, and assembly processes
• Drive a culture of quality excellence through proactive problem-solving, continuous improvement, and employee engagement
• Establish, monitor, and improve key quality performance indicators, including first-pass yield, customer complaints, scrap, rework, supplier quality, and cost of poor quality
• Lead internal, external, and customer audits while ensuring timely closure of corrective and preventive actions
• Manage customer quality concerns and drive root cause investigations using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and other structured problem-solving tools
• Partner with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and EHS teams to improve process capability, product quality, and operational performance
• Oversee supplier quality performance, qualification activities, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support new product introductions, process validations, change management, and facility start-up activities to ensure quality requirements are achieved
• Utilize quality and statistical tools to analyze trends, identify risks, and implement sustainable solutions
• Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing quality organization, including quality engineers, technicians, and inspectors
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence throughout the facility

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of progressive quality experience within a manufacturing environment, including leadership responsibilities
• 3+ years of experience leading quality teams and driving cross-functional quality improvement initiatives
• Experience developing, implementing, and managing Quality Management Systems in complex manufacturing operations
• Demonstrated experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, statistical process control (SPC), process capability analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies
