This role involves performing various inspections to ensure products meet customer specifications, using inspection tools to compare parts and materials to drawings. The inspector will identify, segregate, and process suspect products, and notify personnel of defective conditions to maintain scrap rates. Hourly visual inspections at workstations are also required, along with maintaining detailed inspection records and supporting the ISO9001 Business Management System.

This position has the authority to provide disposition for shipment, stop and report any process that is producing nonconforming product, and report to management any safety violations. It is authorized to make accept and reject decisions on product or components, based on Customer requirements and historical acceptance of specifications/deviations.
