Quality Inspector

About This Role

This Quality Inspector role involves ensuring product quality through the Production Part Approval Process and assisting in the revision of work procedures. It suits a self-motivated and organized individual with strong communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
• Assist in revision of work procedures and instructions
• Communicate via various channels such as voice, email, and internet chat
• Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• 3-5 years of related/relevant experience to position preferred
• Self-motivated, organized, and punctual with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to manage difficult customer situations and respond promptly to customer needs
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
• Good computer skills including experience and ability to quickly learn new software programs
• Solid mathematical skills and attentive to detail
• Good interpersonal skills including ability to read and write English
• Microsoft Applications: Outlook, Access, Word, Excel
