About the role
Role Overview: Responsible for ensuring engine quality in repair and production, focusing on engine and component testing while complying with aviation maintenance and production regulations.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct inspections and release engines and parts, manage test plans, review and improve testing procedures, oversee test system calibration, troubleshoot test failures, and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Qualifications & Skills: BS in aeronautics, mechanical engineering, or related field; minimum five years of repair station or production experience with at least two in testing; knowledge of FAA regulations (Part 43/145, Part 21), strong communication, attention to detail, organizational, analytical, and technical skills; familiarity with design data, tooling, software coding, and ERP/MES systems.
Working Conditions: Mix of shop floor and office environments, ability to lift 50 lbs, wear PPE, and perform in various settings; may require travel and off-shift work.
