Quality Engineer ( EHS experience is prefered)

Job Purpose:

1. Set up a good relationship between customer and Boyd, feedback any quality defect information to factory and take containment actions immediately.

2. Lead factory to do corrective actions for customer complaint issues, cost reduction and continuous quality improvements.

3. Work with sales to build solid relationships with customers and work with team to provide good quality and service to exceed customer expectations.

Work Location:

Lot CN2-4, Yen Phong IP (extension area), Yen Trung commune, Yen Phong district, Bac Ninh province, Bac Ninh, Vietnam

Key Responsibilities

1. Monitoring work progress to ensure that deadlines are met and that quality standards are upheld
2. Conducting regular audits of production lines or departments to ensure compliance with company standards
3. Highlight customer complaints to operation team and drive team to work out an action plan to solve problems and monitor the action result
4. Managing projects involving a team of employees working on specific tasks towards common goals
5. Reviewing employee performance to determine whether they are meeting standards or making improvements needed to meet standards
6. Providing guidance and support to employees in their work teams to ensure that they are performing their jobs effectively
7. Maintaining quality management system such as ISO 9001, ISO 1400….
8. Managing audit activities related to EHS
9. Monitoring and reporting on employee productivity to ensure that goals are being met

Requisite Criteria

1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical /or an equivalent combination of training, certification(s), and experience.
2. Familiar with quality control tools.
3. Strong ISO 9001, ISO 1400 quality system mgt knowledge and practice

Experience

1. Minimum 5 years of solid experience in quality
2. Knowledge of EHS is an added advantage

4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
5. Strong technical proficiency in mechanical product knowledge.
6. Strong computer skills including MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
7. Good communication skills.
8. Being patient and can work under pressure
