About The Role Our passion sets your career in motion as a Customer Quality Engineer (m/w/d) with development prospects at Bühler Motor GmbH in Monheim, Bayern. We are seeking a dedicated and proactive quality engineer to act as a vital link between our customers and internal departments. In this role, you will oversee all quality-related customer concerns, ensuring swift and effective resolution while maintaining high standards of quality assurance. You will also serve as the deputy to the Head of Quality at the Monheim site, gaining exposure to strategic quality management and operational leadership. The position is designed within a structured and long-term succession plan, preparing you systematically for eventual full responsibility for the quality department at the location. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a completed technical degree or an equivalent qualification, complemented by several years of professional experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive sector. Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies such as 8D, Ishikawa diagrams, FMEA, SPC, and 5-Why analysis is essential. Certification as an internal auditor according to VDA 6.3 is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate openness to artificial intelligence and AI-supported methods, with SAP knowledge considered an advantage. Analytical thinking, a structured approach to work, and assertiveness are critical qualities. Excellent communication skills in both German and English, along with confident interpersonal skills for engaging with customers and internal teams, are necessary to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

• Act as the central contact point for customers on all quality-related issues, ensuring clear communication and effective resolution of concerns.
• Handle customer complaints by coordinating sustainable solutions and conducting root cause analyses to prevent recurrence.
• Lead and facilitate cause-and-effect analyses such as 8D reports, ensuring thorough investigation and documentation.
• Participate in customer visits, audits, and quality discussions to strengthen relationships and demonstrate compliance with quality standards.
• Analyze key quality metrics, identify trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and process quality.
• Collaborate closely with production, engineering, logistics, and suppliers to uphold and improve quality standards across the supply chain.
• Support the Head of Quality in operational and strategic tasks, contributing to the development and refinement of quality management systems.
• Conduct lessons learned sessions, risk assessments, and support product and process validations to ensure compliance and excellence.
