Directing product quality across all manufacturing processes at a new site is the core of this role, which will also develop the site's quality management system and lead certification processes such as AAR M-1003. This position communicates North American customer product quality requirements to existing European facilities and ensures quality documentation is maintained. It suits a candidate with railway industry experience who is excited to build a quality system from the ground up and shape the quality organization, processes, and standards of a new manufacturing site.

Bonatrans North America is a newly incorporated division of the GHH-Bonatrans group, based in Europe. This new division's primary goal is to serve the North American rail market with US-based manufacturing for America's rapidly growing rail industry. The new site will be machining wheels, axles, and manufacturing wheelsets for the freight, locomotive, and transit industry across the North American subcontinent. The GHH Bonatrans group consists of two independent organizations: Bonatrans located in Bohumin, Czech Republic, and GHH Radsatz located in Oberhausen, Germany.
