We are currently seeking a Quality Control (QC) Officer to join an international food manufacturing organization in Utrecht. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods consistently meet quality and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
As a QC Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring product quality throughout the production process and supporting the site's quality objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing quality control checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
- Collecting and evaluating product samples
- Recording, analyzing, and reporting test results
- Identifying, investigating, and escalating quality deviations
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality procedures
- Supporting internal and external audits
- Collaborating with production teams to resolve quality-related issues
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the quality management system
What We're Looking For
- MBO+ or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Laboratory Sciences, Quality Management, or a related field
- Experience in a Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or laboratory environment
- Knowledge of food safety and quality management systems is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and a structured way of working
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to work in a 5-shift rotation
- Good command of English; Dutch is considered a plus
