Quality Assurance Manager

About This Role

This Quality Assurance Manager role is responsible for ensuring that DSV's transportation and logistics operations meet industry standards and customer requirements. The manager implements quality assurance procedures, manages audits, and oversees compliance with regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance procedures for transportation and logistics operations
• Monitor compliance with industry standards and customer requirements
• Coordinate and manage internal and external audits
• Develop and implement corrective actions to address non-conformances
• Review and approve quality-related documentation, such as standard operating procedures and work instructions
• Analyze data and implement improvements to processes and procedures
• Train employees on quality assurance procedures and standards
• Communicate with customers and regulatory agencies as necessary to ensure compliance
• Develop and manage quality metrics and key performance indicators
• May supervise a team of quality assurance professionals

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, logistics, engineering, or quality management is typically required
• A Master's degree may be preferred
• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance in the transportation and logistics industry is usually required
• Experience managing audits and implementing corrective actions is preferred
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, practices, and methodologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to transportation and logistics
• Fluent in English (oral and written)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, as well as experience with quality management software or other relevant tools, is typically required

Nice to have:

• Professional certification in quality assurance, such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
• Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies
