About the role
Under general supervision, responsible for all aspects of quality assurance audits according to group quality assurance guidelines and federal regulations.

Conducts audits to ensure consistency with established policies, procedures and philosophy, and to maintain and improve the quality of care given to patients.

Ensures current, accurate information documented in the Quality Assurance database.

Reviews audit follow-up responses, creates corrective action/preventative action (CAPA) plans, and develops non-conformance reports (NCR) as necessary.

Researches regulatory and quality assurance issues and implements changes as needed.

Maintains communication with Administration, Medical Staff and Department.

Heads regarding all Quality Assurance activities.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor's degree required

Ability to develop clear, concise, and timely oral and written reports.

Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

Exercises a high degree of confidentiality and integrity.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
