Quality Assurance Associate I

About This Role

The Quality Assurance Associate I plays a crucial role in ensuring that laboratory reports and records meet quality and productivity metrics. The position requires effective teamwork and communication with scientific staff to maintain compliance and accuracy in laboratory operations.

Responsibilities

• Meet all quality and productivity metrics and demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration
• Review and approve/reject completed client laboratory reports and records for accuracy, traceability, and completeness. Evaluate addressed deficiencies for clarification and potential impact on compliance status, and work with staff to correct any noted deficiencies/inconsistencies.
• Assist with the implementation and monitoring of quality systems and procedures (e.g., CAPA, change controls, trainings, etc.)
• Review protocols, procedures, data, reports, and other documents to ensure accordance with specified regulatory requirements, protocols, and/or project plans, methods, and SOPs.
• Keep supervisor informed of significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities.
• Learn new tasks and remember the processes associated with this role.
• Communicate effectively with scientific staff for resolving comments.
• Complete tasks in situations that have a speed or productivity quota.
• Communicate effectively with client staff members.
• Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is required. A degree in a relevant field such as chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical science, or other directly related field or degree with comparable coursework is preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
