About This Role
This QS Engineer role involves managing payment and settlement documents, quality and quantity records, and acceptance and handover procedures for a thermal power plant project. It suits a detail-oriented professional with experience in construction project documentation and a background in civil engineering or transportation.
Responsibilities
- Manage payment and settlement documents, including checking payment and settlement records at each stage for contractors and material/equipment suppliers
- Manage quality and quantity records, including developing plans for preparing quality and quantity records for project items and controlling the progress of quality and quantity record implementation for bid packages
- Handle acceptance and handover tasks, responsible for compiling and preparing work acceptance reports, stage acceptance reports, and handover reports for project items
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the QS Team Leader and the site management board
Requirements
- University degree in a related field from universities such as Construction or Transportation
- 3-5 years of experience or more in a similar position
- Ability to use cost estimation software
- Planning skills, creative thinking, problem-solving skills, and effective teamwork skills
- Preferred: Ability to use English
