Are you an experienced Electrical QA/QC professional looking to play a key role in delivering quality excellence on major projects? We're seeking an Electrical QA/QC Inspector to join our team and help ensure the highest standards of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across our operations.
In this role, you'll work closely with project teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to drive a "Right First Time" culture, ensuring electrical installations meet both customer expectations and industry standards.
What you'll be doing
As an Electrical QA/QC Inspector, you will:
- Carry out quality assurance and quality control inspections on electrical installations.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
- Support the ongoing development and maintenance of the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
- Assist in the preparation of quality procedures, work instructions, Quality Plans, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Identify and manage non-conforming products and support corrective and preventative actions.
- Participate in internal and supplier audits, producing audit reports and recommendations.
- Ensure inspection and testing equipment is calibrated and records are maintained.
- Promote a culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in line with health, safety, environmental, and statutory requirements.
Who we're looking for
Essential
- Strong IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- A collaborative team player.
- Ability to manage priorities and work to tight deadlines.
Desirable
- Level 3 Electrical Qualification.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification.
- Minimum 5 years' electrical experience within the Nuclear industry or a similar highly regulated environment.
- Technical knowledge of electrical installation and inspection activities within the Nuclear sector or comparable industries.
