QA Software Engineer

• True Anomaly delivers decisive capabilities for space superiority. We build autonomous spacecraft, advanced payloads, mission software, and space-based interceptors — enabling the U.S. and its Allies to secure the space environment and counter threats from the ultimate high ground
• Execute manual and automated test cases against a full stack software
• Document and report software defects within the software lifecycle in Jira
• Participate in an agile team sprint planning/stand ups
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to clarify requirements and reproduce issues
• Assist in maintaining a growing test repository of manual and automated scripts within Playwright framework
• Continuous contribution to QA standards and testing processes

This role is ideal for someone early in their QA career who is passionate about ensuring product quality within the software lifecycle, learning automation tooling and collaborating with developers in a fast pace industry
• Basic understanding of coding languages (preferred java script)
• Bachelors degree in computer science or related field/equivalent education
• 0-2 years experience in software qa/testing (internships included)
• General understanding of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies and Agile processes
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving
• Strong communication skills
• Familiarity with Jira ticketing and Git
• U.S. Citizen and eligible for DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance
• Exposure to automation tooling (playwright/cypress/selenium)
• Experience with API tooling
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (github actions/ jenkins, etc.)
• Motivated to learn and grow within QA industry
• Team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Ability to manage time and tasks effectively in a fast paced environment
