QA Shipping Administrator

About This Role

This role involves ensuring that all shipping documents and processes comply with customer and regulatory requirements, maintaining meticulous records, and contributing to a safe and efficient work environment. It suits an individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand shipping instructions
• Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
• Use and navigate customer portals via the internet
• Review customer specifications to initiate required shipping documents
• Verify material and process certifications for compliance to customer/regulatory requirements
• Maintain records, data, and logs as necessary
• Follow work procedures
• Provide support to achieve short-term and long-term department/company goals
• Ensure that production schedules and customer requirements are met
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow safety and environmental procedures and regulations
• Report safety incidents to supervisor
• Make recommendations for improvements to work processes and procedures
• Contribute to 6S programs in work area
• Provide a high level of service to all internal and external customers
• Contribute to a positive teamwork environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Participate in training/learning other positions
• Accomplish related results as needed

Requirements

• AS degree in Industrial Technology or equivalent work experience of 0-2 years in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with Quality System(s) such as ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.
