QA Manager

About This Role

This role involves leading and motivating multiple QA teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, web-based ERP solutions for the shipping industry. The manager will plan and execute testing strategies, coordinate with other departments, and ensure the continuous growth and development of team members.

Responsibilities

• Manage the execution of 4 QA teams by creating a plan for the version and its iterations to deliver based on commitments
• Own and be accountable for the teams' deliverables and commitments
• Effectively prioritize activities across multiple domains and address unplanned ones
• Coordinate with development, support, and product teams to achieve group and company goals
• Create and review software requirements and prepare test scenarios in addition to LLM-generated scenarios
• Optimize and increase scenario execution automation to support growth and scale
• Interact with clients to understand product requirements or to analyze production gaps
• Take part in requirements handover and refinement sessions and provide feedback after analysis and mapping of potential gaps and risks
• Lead and motivate both managers and team members as the organization keeps growing, new technologies are introduced, and new challenges are encountered
• Mentor QA team members and managers, be responsible for their personal and professional growth

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in QA
• At least 5 years of experience driving quality assurance for web-based scalable solutions
• At least 5 years in leadership and management roles
• Experience managing and leading QA teams of more than 20 QA engineers
• Good knowledge of SDLC and STLC
• Experience in defining testing roadmaps as well as defining strategy and testing processes
• Passionate, strong team player, self-motivated, and focused on quality and timely delivery

Nice to have:

• Experience with mobile testing
