QA Analyst - Websites, Applications & Software

About This Role

Identifying, tracking, and testing issues across websites, applications, software, and digital platforms is the core of this QA Analyst role, ensuring smooth functionality and a reliable user experience. This position suits a skilled and detail-oriented professional with at least one year of experience in software testing and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Test websites, web applications, software, and digital platforms to identify bugs and technical issues
• Perform functional, usability, and compatibility testing across browsers and devices
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track bugs until resolution
• Coordinate with developers and technical teams to resolve reported issues
• Retest features after fixes to ensure proper functionality
• Test APIs, software integrations, and digital workflows
• Maintain test cases, bug reports, and quality assurance documentation
• Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements
• Monitor website and application functionality and report potential problems

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in QA, software testing, or a related technical role
• Good understanding of manual testing, test cases, and bug reporting
• Experience testing websites, applications, or software
• Familiarity with bug-tracking tools such as Jira or similar platforms
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with developers and other teams
• B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• BCA, MCA, B.Sc. Computer Science, or an equivalent technical qualification

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, APIs, SQL, or browser developer tools
• Experience with cross-browser and responsive website testing
• Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman
• Familiarity with automation testing tools
• Ability to investigate technical issues and verify solutions
