About This Role
This QA Analyst role involves ensuring a seamless digital customer experience for web and mobile applications by planning and executing testing activities, analyzing quality outcomes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The primary focus is on manual testing, with opportunities to develop knowledge in test automation and CI/CD practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and evolve the QA strategy for mobile applications, ensuring comprehensive test coverage through manual and automated testing
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to review requirements, define test plans, and prioritize testing activities
- Analyze testing results to identify trends, recurring defects, and potential quality risks
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve product quality
- Evaluate existing test automation efforts and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability
- Support the integration of QA processes within CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot production issues on live applications and communicate findings
- Contribute to QA processes and standards and recommend improvements when needed
- Stay current with mobile testing tools, trends, best practices, automation strategies, and quality metrics
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Software Testing, including testing web applications
- 3+ years of experience working in a highly collaborative, cross-functional Agile team
- Experience testing large-scale consumer-facing applications
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Strong understanding of web-based software architectures and technologies
- Experience troubleshooting production issues in live applications
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working with internal teams across an organization
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Bachelor
Nice to have:
- Strong experience analyzing mobile testing efforts and creating detailed test plans and test cases
- Exposure to test automation frameworks and CI/CD integration
- Experience with bug tracking, project/product management, and test management tools such as Azure DevOps
- Certification in Quality Assurance or Software Testing
