About This Role

Python Robo is a role for an experienced automation test engineer with a strong background in various testing tools and programming languages. The position involves designing, developing, and executing automated tests across multiple platforms, focusing on in-sprint automation and defect management.

Responsibilities

Test tools (Selenium, Parasoft, DB testing), Robot framework
Automate tests across multiple platforms and technologies
Understand the application of automation throughout the full development lifecycle
Perform in-sprint test automation
Conduct hands-on issue and defect management
Utilize expertise in at least one programming language (C#, Python, Java)
Work with Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
Apply modern testing development practices and integrated testing products such as Selenium
Integrate testing products with tools such as GitLab
Perform non-functional testing, as well as backup and recovery, DR, and performance testing
Apply Agile Software Development and Testing methods for deployment in cloud environments

Requirements

5+ years of experience with automation testing tools (Selenium, Parasoft, DB testing), Robot framework
Demonstrated experience of automating tests across multiple platforms and technologies and understanding its application throughout the full development lifecycle
Knowledge of test case management packages
Demonstrated experience of hands-on Issue and Defect Management
Expertise in at least one programming language (C#, Python, Java) in addition to Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
Knowledge and experience with modern testing development practices and integrated testing products such as Selenium and their integration with tools such as GitLab
Experience of non-functional testing as well as backup and recovery, DR, performance
Experience of Agile Software Development & Testing methods for deployment in cloud environments
