Summary: The pursuit manager has responsibility for growing organic revenue with clients. This individual is responsible from maintaining and growing an assigned book of business. Develops relationships with prospects and key client contacts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate RFP timelines, deliverables, assignments, drafts, reviews, and final submissions for prospects and current clients.

  • Partner with sales, service, marketing, analytics, and subject matter experts to gather accurate content, data, pricing, case studies, and firm capabilities.

  • Maintain a centralized library of RFP responses, bios, templates, references, and commonly requested materials.

  • Ensure proposal content is clear, compliant, client-specific, and aligned with brand standards and sales strategy.

  • Track RFP activity, deadlines, win/loss outcomes, pipeline impact, and related sales operations metrics.

  • Identify process improvements that increase response quality, consistency, speed, and producer efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales operations, proposal/RFP management, marketing, client service, or a related business support role.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.

  • Excellent organization, and attention to detail.

  • Comfort working with sales teams, CRM/pipeline data, proposal templates, and cross-functional contributors.

  • Insurance brokerage, employee benefits, consulting, or professional services experience preferred.

The base salary range for this position is $64,200 – $102,700. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
