About the role
Job Summary:
HCP Wellness Pvt. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of skincare, cosmetics, and oral care products, is seeking an experienced Purchase Manager to oversee procurement and sourcing operations. The ideal candidate will manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining high-quality standards and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
✔Develop and implement strategic procurement plans for raw materials, packaging, and other essential components.
✔Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers and vendors for cost-effective and high-quality procurement.
✔Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms to optimize cost savings.
✔Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, ISO, and other regulatory standards.
✔Coordinate with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams to align purchasing needs with business goals.
✔Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier performance.
✔Optimize inventory levels to prevent shortages and reduce excess stock.
✔Implement cost control strategies and identify process improvements in procurement operations.
✔Maintain accurate purchasing records, reports, and documentation.
Technical Skills & Qualifications:
✔Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
✔Experience: Minimum 5-10 years in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the cosmetics, skincare, oral care, or pharmaceutical industries.
✔Strong knowledge of raw materials, active ingredients, and packaging materials used in beauty product manufacturing.
✔Expertise in vendor management, negotiation, and cost optimization.
✔Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software.
✔Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements (FDA, GMP, ISO, etc.).
✔Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
✔Ability to analyze procurement data, cost structures, and market trends.
Preferred Qualifications:
✔Experience in global sourcing and international supplier management.
✔Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly materials in beauty product manufacturing.
✔Certification in Supply Chain Management (CSCP, CIPS, etc.) is a plus.
