About the role
Role Overview: A licensed pulmonologist is sought for outpatient, clinic-based services to provide adult pulmonary care. The position requires board certification in Pulmonary Disease and prescriptive authority .
Responsibilities: Evaluate and manage pulmonary conditions following established outpatient protocols, see approximately 20 adult patients daily, and collaborate with a clinical support team that includes two respiratory therapists.
Work Environment: Conduct clinic duties Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in an on-site outpatient setting. Call coverage is negotiable.
Qualifications & Skills: Must possess board certification in Pulmonary Disease and prescriptive authority. Strong clinical evaluation and management skills are essential.
Key Duties: Provide specialized respiratory care, perform patient assessments, and deliver treatment in a supportive outpatient environment.
Additional Details: Support staff includes two respiratory therapists; the patient population is adult; location is on-site. This role offers ongoing locum tenens coverage to meet clinical needs.
