About This Role
This role involves developing and implementing public relations initiatives to strengthen the company's brand reputation and maintain positive media relationships. The specialist manages PR content, coordinates media activities, responds to inquiries, and monitors PR program effectiveness and market trends.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage PR content, including press releases, articles, executive messages, feature stories, and trend-related content
- Plan and coordinate PR activities such as press conferences, media briefings, press test drives, media interviews, product launches, and other corporate events
- Handle media inquiries and provide accurate and timely information to journalists and media representatives
- Build, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships with Automotive, Marketing, IT media and KOLs
- Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies to ensure effective execution of PR campaigns and activities
- Monitor media coverage, industry trends, competitor activities, and market movements
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of PR programs
- Prepare regular PR performance, media coverage, and market movement reports for management
- Support crisis communication and reputation-management activities when required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Public Relations, Communications, Advertising, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Marketing Communications, or a related role
- Strong writing, editing, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of media relations and public relations practices
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines
- Proactive, detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Professional personality with strong relationship-building and coordination skills
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
