About This Role

Public relations professionals will shape and maintain the positive image of PT BABYLON GROUP INTERNASIONAL within the bar and beverage sector. This role involves building strong relationships with media, stakeholders, and the public while promoting brand values and business objectives. It is integral to the marketing strategy and will directly contribute to the growth and reputation of the company.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies and campaigns to enhance brand visibility and reputation within the hospitality and bar and beverage industry
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts, journalists, influencers, and key stakeholders to secure positive media coverage and publicity
• Create compelling press releases, media kits, and promotional materials that effectively communicate company news and initiatives
• Manage and monitor brand reputation across all channels, including traditional media and digital platforms
• Coordinate and organise media events, product launches, promotional activities, and community engagement programmes
• Handle crisis communication and provide strategic advice during sensitive situations to protect organisational reputation
• Liaise with internal teams, including marketing, events, and operations, to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment
• Analyse media coverage and prepare regular reports on PR performance and brand sentiment
• Identify and pursue opportunities for thought leadership and expert positioning within the hospitality and beverage sector

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in public relations, preferably within the hospitality, tourism, or food and beverage industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Indonesian, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and key messages
• Strong media relations experience and an established network of contacts within local and national media outlets
• Proven experience in developing and executing successful PR campaigns and brand awareness initiatives
• Proficiency in social media management and digital PR strategies
• Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong analytical and research capabilities to assess market trends and competitor activities
• Creative thinking with a strategic mindset and ability to translate business objectives into effective PR initiatives
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
