Psychometrician

About This Role

Working closely with the Lead for Assessment and the Lead for Admissions, the Psychometrician provides statistical and business analysis across assessment, recruitment, admissions and outreach, helping generate high-quality data and reports that support continuous improvement. This role is part of the Professional Services Curriculum and Assessment Team at Kent and Medway Medical School, and involves using data and statistical analysis to support fair, accurate and effective assessment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychometric and statistical analysis across assessment, recruitment and admissions data
• Produce results data, reports and analysis for a range of audiences
• Support data quality, accuracy and reporting across KMMS systems
• Provide statistical support for key assessment and admissions activity, including MMIs, AKTs and OSCEs

Requirements

• Degree, or equivalent, in a relevant subject such as mathematics, statistics or psychology
• Excellent IT skills, including MS Office and statistical software such as SPSS
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail when working with data and records
• Strong communication, numeracy and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
