Psychiatry (Child & Adolescent) – Grand Rapids, MI – MD/DO University of Michigan Health-West is seeking a full-time, board eligible/board certified, Child and Adolescent fellowship trained Psychiatrist. High caliber, quality focused, innovative physicians should apply to join our employed team of psychiatrists to expand and provide care to local communities.

Candidate will need to coordinate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a positive experience for all patients, families, and staff.

Opportunity Details Ability to work closely with a partnering team of specialists encompassing 37+ specialty care and hospital-based service lines

Extensive Primary Care referral base; Position will be embedded in outpatient Primary Care Setting

Provides state-of-the-art empirically grounded psychopharmacological and psychotherapeutic care

UMHW uses a team-based approach to health care

The focus of this position is to provide high-quality care directly to patients both outpatient and possibly inpatient consults when appropriate.

Performs comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and mental status examination focusing on the child and adolescent patient population

Orders, conducts, and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests
