This opportunity is for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join a busy and team-oriented work environment at the Center for Mental Wellness. The role involves working in an outpatient, hospital-owned practice alongside a team of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, professional counselors, and support staff.
Capital Region Medical Center is a full-service healthcare system providing advanced, patient-centered care. The system includes a 120-bed acute care hospital, a 14-bed inpatient rehabilitation center, and over 160 employed providers across 32 clinics, serving an 8-county region of 225,000 people. It also features the Goldschmidt Cancer Center, a hospital-based fitness facility, and home health services. CRMC is the only facility in Jefferson City offering robotic surgery and was the first in the region to achieve stroke center designation. As of January 2024, CRMC and MU Health Care are unified under one brand, combining the strengths of community and academic medicine.
