Important Details

• Bargaining Unit: Local 856 - LVN/Aide Unit
• Schedule: Days, P.M., Nights, or All shifts available
• Employment type: Permanent Full-Time Position (regularly scheduled 40 hours per week with full fringe benefits); Permanent Part-Time Position (regularly scheduled less than 40 hours per week; prorated vacation, sick leave; medical on a shared cost basis if position is 20 hours or more per week; retirement is on a shared cost basis if position is 20 hours or more per week); Permanent Intermittent (irregular, unscheduled employment on an on-call basis; paid hourly; must be available to work every other weekend; scheduled for one major and three minor holidays; vacation and sick leave is prorated); Limited Term-Temporary (a limited period of time, paid on an hourly basis, eligible for paid time off if assignment exceeds one year (2080 hours))
• Locations: Region 1 Central - Outpatient, Inpatient & Detention Facility (Concord/Martinez); Region 2 West - Outpatient (Richmond Area); Region 3 East - Outpatient (Pittsburg, Antioch and Brentwood)

• Submit a copy of your Psychiatric Technician certification and your current CPR or BLS certificate at the time of application
• Applications will be evaluated to determine which candidates will move forward
• Training and Experience Evaluation: Candidates who clearly demonstrate minimum qualifications will have their training and experience evaluated. Responses to supplemental questions will be evaluated to determine relevant education, training, and/or experience and will be used to rank candidates on the eligible list (Weighted 100%)
• Applications will be accepted and evaluated on an ongoing basis

Other Requirements

• A background investigation/fingerprint and/or physical exam may be required prior to the start of employment
