This RN role involves providing patient-centered care across diverse behavioral health populations, including Adolescent Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, Mood Disorders, and Transitional Youth.
Under supervision, the nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized care, while supervising non-RN staff and serving as a charge nurse when needed.
Responsibilities include ongoing patient assessment, developing and documenting care plans, coordinating care, patient education, and ensuring quality outcomes.
The role requires expertise in neuro patient care, airway management, tracheostomy, ventilator care, and neuro assessments.
Qualifications include a graduate of an accredited nursing school, valid Connecticut RN license, BLS certification, and proficiency with electronic records. BSN preferred; experience is not required.
