Job Overview
The main role of this job is to coordinate, consult & audit DVP, MVT, vehicle build & sign-off process across the program to ensure that the prototype vehicle maturity level and quality fits for assigned tests.

  • Budget & Resources Management: Take charge of budgeting processes, negotiating vehicle & test facility requirements to meet the standards and stakeholder expectations.
  • Design the Organizational Systems: Establish process & ensure quality.
  • Manage Quality Management System: Evaluate effectiveness of quality management system.
  • Provide Testing Support: Oversee activities, identify and report issues, and validate corrective actions to ensure.
  • Develop & Oversee: Spearhead the creation and maintenance of the complete vehicle Devsign Verification Plan (DVP), focusing on thorough homologation processes.
  • Foster Collaboration: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to define and align on test protocols, ensuring every voice is heard and every detail is considered.
  • Lead Prototype Development: Direct the build of test vehicle prototypes, navigating through challenges and fostering partnerships with suppliers to resolve issues.
  • Guide Testing Efforts: Command the execution of attribute tests, establishing close collaborations with suppliers & attribute leads to ensure top-notch quality & performance.
  • Steer Effective Meetings: Chair essential discussions around status updates, issue resolution, and test planning, making sure every team is aligned and every attribute meets the goals.
  • Communicate with Leadership: Provide insightful updates and reports directly to the Program Chief Engineer, ensuring transparency and strategic alignment.
  • Organize Showcase Events: Plan and execute drive events for senior management, highlighting the innovation and progress of our electric vehicles.
  • Matrix Working Environment: Work together with all parties involved in the project: ESPs, suppliers, and internal divisions (Engineering division, Manufacturing, etc.).

Requirements
Core Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure vehicle readiness and timelines.
  • Ability to work independently, proactively identify issues, and drive problem resolution.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong prioritization skills with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • High level of ownership, responsibility, and proactiveness.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with vehicles at vehicle-level or automotive subsystems (especially EVs or electrical systems).
  • Basic understanding of vehicle architecture and functional systems to support vehicle test preparation activities.
  • Experience in vehicle performance testing (e.g., Passive/Active Safety, Drivability, Vehicle Dynamics, Durability, NVH, Thermal, Environmental).
  • Experience with testing strategies, methodologies, or validation processes.
  • Knowledge of automotive industry standards, testing & validation practices, and risk management processes.
  • Background in design engineering.
  • Experience in reviewing processes, evaluating system effectiveness, or internal controls.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills with stakeholders.
  • Experience working with JIRA system.
  • Ability to propose process improvements and risk mitigation solutions.
  • Deep understanding of vehicle performance domains.
