PROSTHETIC TECHNICIAN Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour (Negotiable based on experience.)
- Comprehensive benefits package.
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
Job Summary Our client is seeking a Prosthetic Technician to support the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of custom upper-extremity prosthetic devices. This hands-on position is ideal for individuals with experience using hand and power tools, machinery, and precision fabrication techniques who enjoy working independently in a collaborative clinical environment.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and passionate about contributing to life-changing patient outcomes through high-quality prosthetic fabrication.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate, repair, and finish custom upper-extremity prosthetic devices.
- Create casts and impressions under the guidance of clinical staff.
- Perform laminations, cosmetic finishing, and detailed fabrication work.
- Repair, modify, and adjust ill-fitting or malfunctioning prosthetic devices.
- Maintain laboratory inventory, supplies, equipment, and work areas.
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party manufacturers to support production needs.
- Collaborate closely with prosthetists and clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care.
Qualifications
- 1–2+ years of experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Experience with fabrication, machining, manufacturing, or laboratory-based work.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of precision and attention to detail.
