Proposal Manager

About This Role

Planning and running marketing and proposal efforts for all stages of pursuits is the core of this role, which also involves collaborating with technical leads to develop compelling win themes. This position suits a detail-oriented, proactive proposal professional with advanced written and verbal communication skills who wants to help take EnTech to the next level.

Responsibilities

• Lead marketing and proposal-related efforts for all stages of pursuits (qualifications, RFQs, RFPs and presentations, award submittals, as necessary)
• Collaborate with capture managers and technical leads to identify key differentiators, develop compelling win themes, and craft persuasive, client-focused proposal content that positions EnTech for success
• Work closely with EnTech’s creative team to develop impactful graphics, infographics, and other visual elements that reinforce win themes, communicate key messages, and strengthen the overall quality and competitiveness of proposals
• Coordinate and produce proposals submitted as a prime and subconsultants, including teaming outreach
• Actively support EnTech’s Key Account Management (KAM) program, working closely with the KAM team to strengthen relationships with key clients, support strategic growth initiatives, and identify new business opportunities
• Manage and create content for staff and project qualifications
• Assist with business development efforts including research, coordinating and registering for networking events, award ceremonies, and conferences

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in marketing in AEC, professional services, or a related industry preferred
• Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills, with an eye for the little details
• Proficiency with InDesign and a working knowledge of other Adobe Creative Suite programs including Photoshop and Illustrator
• General understanding of AI platforms such as ChatGPT and Claude, with the ability to leverage these tools for research, content development, and implementing best practices to improve proposal quality and efficiency
• Excellent communication, organizational and collaborative skills
• Ability to work efficiently, manage and meet deadlines
• A keen eye for detail and accuracy, including editing and typography
• Creativity and the ability to conceptualize graphic solutions
• Ability to quickly learn (and improve) office practices, database, filing system, firm standards, etc.
