Proposal Manager

About This Role

This Proposal Manager role involves coordinating the preparation of technical and economic offers for national and international tenders concerning large infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will join the Technical Department at the company's headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Analyze possible tender strategies as well as the contractual, technical, and economic peculiarities of the project, highlighting any critical project issues (such as certifications, requirements, etc.)
• Prepare, at the end of the preliminary analysis phase of the tender document, a summary sheet with essential project data, tender criteria and activities, contractual conditions and economic commitments, necessary resources, initial budget, and risk assessment
• Ensure the correct definition of the tender strategy, collaborating with management to develop competitive technical solutions and cost efficiency
• Develop the planning of tender activities, identifying milestones, necessary resources, and coordinating cross-functional sharing moments (Kick-Off Meetings for more complex tenders)
• Analyze direct and indirect costs of works, developing and detailing all analyses in the dedicated bidding software
• Coordinate relations with consortium/Joint Venture partners and subcontractors
• Support, where possible during the offer reordering and project start-up phase, the Project Manager, the Administrative Manager, and the Cost Control Manager

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a Proposal Manager role in the large infrastructural construction sector
• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Good knowledge of the English language
• Excellent critical analysis skills for tender documents
• In-depth knowledge of planning methodologies and software such as Oracle Primavera P6, MS Project, TILOS
